Are you always the person with the best story ideas? When you see a bad film, do you always think that you could do a better job? Do you have a great film idea in your head but you don’t know how to write a script? Then this course is for you.
At the screenwriting beginner’s course you will learn all the rules and technical details of screenwriting. You will learn how to develop your stories and put them in script form. Most importantly, you will start screenwriting and will receive feedback on your work.
Speakers of all languages are welcome to attend this course, though we recommend a level of at least B1 English to participate.
At the end of this 10 week course you will: know how to write a script, have a worked out outline and will have written at least the first act of your own screenplay.
The course kicks off on Tuesday, March 6th and will be held every Tuesday from 20:00-21:30 for 10 weeks. The course price is EUR 299.
Your instructer, Joël Linger, studied Media and Entertainment Management (specializing in film and television) in Rotterdam and studied Screenwriting at Open Studio in Amsterdam. He has produced and written for film in television in the Netherlands, Ireland and Germany including: Who wants to be a millionaire?, Mist (IFFR 2012), Mengelmoes.
